Summertime we offer a Rangeley Lake Boat Tour every Friday from the docks of Loon Lodge. Golf the local courses Mingo Springs and Evergreen or take a short drive to Sugarloaf Golf course. Many more activities and attractions are available for your enjoyment spring, summer or fall. Fish, Kayak or canoe the many lakes, streams, and ponds in the area. Experience the beauty of mountains & vistas with a guided Mountain Climbing tour. Easy day Hikers can follow the Appalachian Trail to Piazza Rock or leisurely stroll through Hunters Cove Sanctuary.
Rangeley winters bring you to the slopes for snowboarding & alpine skiing at Saddleback Mt. Snowshoeing or cross-country skiing at Rangeley Lakes Trail Center. Snowmobiling is another great sport and Rangeley’s snowmobile trails will lead you throughout the Rangeley area, Interstate and into the back country for a true snowmoile experience. Our snowmobile ramp for lake access will lead you to all ITS trails. Enjoy winter festivals like “Snodeo” in January, a snowmobilers gathering and competition. The RaveX extreme snowmobilers are always a great family show to watch, presented by Boss Power Equipment, the local Arctic Cat & Ski-Doo Dealership.
