Dining Information

We’re thrilled to announce our reopening for dine-in and take out at The Loon Lodge Inn & Restaurant.

We’ll be open Wednesday-Saturday 5-9pm

Our goal is to continue offering you the same excellent dining experience you have come to expect, while protecting yours and our staff’s health.

Here is some of what you need to know about dining and lodging at Loon Lodge.

Guests:

  • If you do not feel well, please do not come to the Loon Lodge Inn & Restaurant.
  • Reservations will be required for all dining parties. Please call 207.864.5666.
  • Maximum group size of 8. We cannot make any exceptions.
  • Please call ahead for takeout at 207.864.5666.
  • The state of Maine requires all guests to wear face masks at all times, except when seated at your table.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available. We request you please use upon arrival.
  • Social distancing rules will be in place. Please maintain six-foot distancing whenever possible.
  • When you arrive at Loon Lodge for dinner, please wait in your car. Call the front desk at 207.864.5666 to let us know you have arrived. We will call you to let you know when your table is ready.
  • Per state regulation, guests will be asked to supply contact information for contact tracing.

Our employees:

  • Our entire staff has been trained, and acknowledges all new cleaning, restaurant and lodging policies and procedures. Training will be updated as needed.
  • All employees will be required to wear cloth face coverings and practice good hand hygiene.
  • We are limiting the sharing of workstations and other equipment used between employees.
  • When you call to make reservations or for takeout, we will remind you of policies to know when you arrive.
  • The Loon Lodge Inn & Restaurant will perform all necessary actions to keep our environment clean and safe for guests and staff.
  • Staff will be screened daily for Coronavirus symptoms and exposure.

Please be patient as our service may be a little slow.  We are all learning together.  We understand that these rules are inconvenient, however they are for everyone’s safety.  It is our goal to make you as comfortable as possible during your visit.  Thank you for your understanding and your continued trust in The Loon Lodge Inn & Restaurant.

The Loon Lodge Inn & Restaurant welcomes you back to the shores of Rangeley Lake! 

We’re looking forward to hosting you for a fun and relaxing stay.  We aim to provide you with the friendly and personal service you have come to expect when staying at the Loon Lodge.

We have also made sure that you feel safe during your stay.  Under the State of Maine’s new Covid-19 health and safety rules, here’s a summary of what you need to know when making reservations and during your visit.

Guests:

  • Guest visitation is restricted to Maine residents and out of state visitors who have met the 14-day quarantine requirements, as well as out of state essential workers at this time per executive order.
  • Call ahead or online reservations are required.
  • The state of Maine requires all guests to wear face masks at all times in all common areas. You may remove masks in your guest room.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available. We request you please use upon arrival and in common areas.
  • Social distancing rules will be in place. Please maintain six-foot distancing whenever possible.
  • Self-service food areas such as coffee and tea stations will have limited availability and will be cleaned frequently.
  • Per state regulation, guests will be asked to supply contact information for contact tracing.

Our employees and operations:

  • Our entire staff has been trained, and acknowledges all new cleaning, restaurant and lodging policies and procedures. Training will be updated as needed.
  • All employees will be required to wear cloth face coverings and practice good hand hygiene.
  • We are limiting the sharing of workstations and other equipment used between employees.
  • When you call to make reservations, we will remind you of policies to know when you arrive. You will also receive an email confirmation for your stay and a reminder about our policies. 
  • Practice enhanced room sanitation by cleaning and sanitizing all hard services after every use, linens, bedspreads and covers laundered.
  • Following each departure, guest rooms will be left vacant for a period of time to allow for deep cleaning, disinfectant and cleaners to dry, and reasonable air exchange. Consider ways to maximize airflow, if practical, to increase fresh air circulation (e.g. opening windows, or doors).
  • Establish procedure for regularly disinfecting inventory and newly received deliveries.
  • The Loon Lodge Inn & Restaurant will perform all necessary actions to keep our environment clean and safe for guests and staff.
  • Staff will be screened daily for Coronavirus symptoms and exposure.
