Welcome to the newly expanded and remodeled Pickford Pub at Loon Lodge Inn & Restaurant — your go-to spot for great food, local craft brews, handcrafted cocktails and the warmest welcome in Rangeley.

Over the past year we have invested in making The Pickford Pub better than ever — and it shows. In November 2025 we transformed our outdoor deck into a beautiful year-round space, adding significant new seating while keeping the cozy, rustic lodge atmosphere you know and love. Then in April 2026 we took it one step further, completely redesigning and expanding the bar itself into a stunning centerpiece worthy of the Pub's growing reputation.

Whether you're warming up after a day on the slopes at Saddleback, coming in off the snowmobile trails, or simply looking for a relaxed evening by the lake, the Pickford Pub is the perfect place to settle in.

We serve the same delicious menu as our main dining room, so you can enjoy fine food in a more casual, laid-back setting. The Pub is first come, first served — no reservations needed. Just pull up a stool, order a round and let the evening take care of itself.

Meet Jarrod — The Heart of The Pickford Pub

Behind every great bar is a great bartender, and at The Pickford Pub, that's Jarrod. With a loyal following and a genuine passion for his craft, Jarrod has become one of the reasons guests keep coming back to Loon Lodge time and time again.

And now, with our newly expanded and remodeled Pub, Jarrod has the stage he deserves. Our brand new, larger bar is the perfect backdrop for his creativity — designed not just to look stunning, but to give Jarrod the space to do what he does best.

Jarrod personally designs and selects every cocktail on our menu, bringing creativity, expertise and a little Maine magic to each glass. Whether you're in the mood for a classic cocktail with a twist or something entirely new and unexpected, Jarrod has crafted something you'll want to order twice. Don't be afraid to ask him for a recommendation — he loves what he does and it shows.

"The Loon Lodge dining experience surpassed all expectations! My husband and I split an order of the lamb chops and the mushroom risotto,
and both were fantastic.
The lamb chops were seasoned and cooked to perfection and came with an incredibly flavorful mint sauce that complemented the meat so well. The veggies were also delicious (likely coated in butter) and I appreciated the spices chosen to season the carrots.
The risotto was creamy and the right texture. I appreciated the assortment of mushrooms, tomatoes, and spinach cooked into it.
Finally, we ended on a slice of key lime pie (also perfect)! And shared a warm chocolate bread pudding with his sister and her husband.
(Pro tip: ask for vanilla ice cream with the chocolate bread pudding instead of the default chocolate).

This was a Phenomenal staycation. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was five star quality. In speaking with the chef we told him how wonderful the food was, his first response was giving credit to all of the kitchen staff. He said he had phenomenal kitchen staff and could not do it without them. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The view from our room was spectacular, looking right out of window to Rangeley Lake.
When we spoke with the manager, I told her how well-run the lodge seemed. Again her first response was giving all of the credit to the staff. My wife and I have not had a vacation for quite a while and could not have asked for a better experience. There are many things to do and places to go. My wife and I do want to recognize our bartender and server Mercedes. My wife says she was incredible and I agree. Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff that made our vacation so memorable.

We had a great stay at Loon Lodge Inn. The room was cozy & clean. The staff is friendly, conscientious & TEAM oriented (wonderful to see them all having each others' back when it got busy). The location is ideal for a weekend of Saddleback skiing...(or snow-sledding or whatever floats your boat)!
